The involvement of the Parish Council is very limited regarding planning applications relating to the village. The decision is ultimately down to Cherwell District Council.
Our Role: A statutory consultee, meaning it must be informed of all planning applications within its parish.
Our Decision-making power: Does not have the authority to grant or refuse permission.
Our Function: Reviews applications and submits comments to the local planning authority. These comments can include a recommendation for conditions to be attached to a planning approval.
